Is This A Portal Feeder Scam Or Good Piece Of Marketing?
There’s a lot one can learn from the impending launch of Portal Feeder 2.0. What is it? Well, for starters it’s great watching master marketers at work.
Portal Feeder’s founders Jason Potash, Jason Katzenback and Marc Quarles have again demonstrated their uncanny ability to make people sit up and take notice. This time around, they’ve given us a sneak peek into the deep barrel of Portal Feeder software by making available free to download, Comment Kahuna.
Comment Kahuna is a back link tool which helps build free traffic to your sites bypassing the search engines. With the volatility of the search engines these days, relying on them as your sole source of traffic is paramount to internet marketing suicide.
There’s a rule of thumb which states at least 20-30% of your traffic should be coming from places other than the search engines. Why? Because for example, if Google decides to do another one of those famous search engine dances and suddenly your site or sites disappear from the index, where are your visitors going to come from? What’s going to happen to your revenue stream?
Basically, you’re “dead in the water.” Sourcing traffic from other areas means your well won’t dry up completely and you’ll still be getting visitors to your sites. It at least gives you some breathing space as you work out a way to adjust to the latest search engine dance.
Comment Kahuna allows you to source not only back links but also that all important free traffic. Potash, Katzenback and Quarles, internet marketing’s version of “The Three Amigos” are allowing prospective Portal Feeder Members to take a look at some of their firepower before their second anniversary launch.
Is this a good marketing tactic? You bet it is but the beauty of this is that there not bribing you with some worthless piece of junk; no, you’re actually getting a software tool valued at $97 which is helping current Portal Feeder members source a consistent stream of traffic to their sites bypassing the search engines.
In other words, it’s yours free whether you join Portal Feeder or not. I’m sure the Portal Feeder founders will experience some degree of “buyer’s remorse” after the launch but what the heck, if they’re crazy enough to give Comment Kahuna away then don’t feel the least bit guilty in grabbing it!
